An ordinance to require Physicians to report all infectious
a . d contagious disoasus to the Board of health .
Be it ordained by the City council of the City of
Fayetteville , Arkansas . ,
Section 1 . That hereafter all physicians practicing with -
in the City of Fayetteville , be and they are hereby re -
� - m�v' quired to report all cases of infectious and contagious
diseases immediately after coming under their treatment or
to their knowledge within the City limits or within five miles
thereof , to the Board of Health ,
Secti .: n 2 . Any physician failing- to report a case of
contagious or infectious disease unfer treatment by him , tb the
Board of Health immediately after he has resonablc grounds
as a physician to believe that the case is of that nature ,
shall be guilty of misdemeanor and upon conviction be fined
in any sum not exceeding fifty dollars .
Section 3 . That this ordinance take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and publication .
