anoas into an improvement district for the purpose of installing a
system of sewers in said City , designating the number , defining the
boundaries thereof and naming the same .
Whereas at a meeting 6f the City council hold on the
first day of August nineteen hundred acid Aly , a petition signed by
the resident real property owners within the district to be affect—
ed , was submitted to the council asking that the whole of the City
of Fayetteville Arkansas bs laid off into an improvement district
and asking that said district be denominated " sewer improvement
district number 1" , and whoreas it was prayed in said petition that
the council take all necessary steps toward the completion of such
improvment district .
Now thereforo0 be it ordained by the City council of the
City of Fayetteville Arkansas .
Section 1 . That the shole of the City of Fayetteville
which is to say every lot , block or parcel of land lying and being
situated within the corporate lijAits of the City of Fayetteville , be
and the same is hereby declared to be an improvement district within
said City.
Section 2 . That said district shall hereafter be known
and designated as sower improvement district number 1 Ons , of the
City of Fayetteville , Arkansas .
Section 3 . That said district is laid off for the pur—
pose of installing, maintaining and operating a system of sowers
for the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas ,
Section 4 . That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in cinflict herowith be and the same are hereby repealed and this
ordinance to take effect and be in force from and after its passage
and publication .
