AN ORDII4ANCE FIXING TEE SALARIES AND ^.OMPEIISATIMi Or THE OFFICERS
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE ; ARKANSAS , AS A CITY OF THE
FIRST CLASS .
Be it ordained by the City council oi' the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas ,
Section 1 . The officers of the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas shall be paid and receive the followiig salaries
and in no instance receive any additional compensation by
way of fees , fines or perquisites , but wll such fees , fines
and perquisites shall be paid to the City 'Treasury ,
The Mayor shall be paid and receive the sum of three
hundred ( $300 ) dollars per annum , payable monthly ,
The City Treasurer shall be paid and receive the sum of one
hundred and twenty ( $120 ) dollars per annum , payable monthly ,
The Police Judge shall be paid and receive the sum of two
hundred and forty (;240 ) dollars per annum , - payable monthly .
The City Clerk shall b(-.11paid and ' receive the sum of one .
hundred and fifty ( y150 ) dollars per annum , payable monthly .
( Amended Apr , 3 , 1908 , to read $ 200 per year , etc . )
The City Attorney shall bepaid and receive the sum of two
hundred ( $200 ) per annum , payable :yonthly ,
The Chief of Police shall be paid and receive the sun of
seven hundred and twenty ( $720 ) dollars per annum , Payable
monthly ,
The aldermen shall be paid and receive the sum of one
dollar each for each meeting at whicl; tY.ey may be it
attendance .
Section 2 , All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed ,
Section 3 . This ordinance shall take effect and bi in force
from and after the 2nd day of April , 1906 .
