Be it ordained by the City of tho City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas ,
Suction 1 . That it shall be unlawful for any person
lit t("�!�` dor persons - or corporation , occupying any lands cr premises ,
in the City= of Fayetteville to throi,., or discharge into or upon
any Street or alley in the City of Fayetteville , any water from
such lands or premises , whether such i,%rat ., r shall have been used
for tivasiiing , bathing or other purposes or not , or to allow any
water under the control of Such person or persons or corporation
to leak or escape directly into or upon any street or alley or
indirectly across other lands , into or upon any street or alley
in the City of Fayetteville . Provided that water may be used for
sprinkling streets , washing buggies , building or other purposes
and then allowed to run - into the streets , only on specific
permits signed by the Mayor , provided that upon complaint the
council may revoke any permit so signed and issued by the Yayor .
J Suction 2 . Any person violating any of the provisions
of this ordinance , shall upon conviction , be fined in any sum
not more than ten dollars .
