An ordinance to protect property vAtyain the City of rayetteville .
Be it; ordained by the city Council of the pity of ayetteville /
Arkansas .
Section I . That it shall. be unlawful and is hereby declared tb
be a misdemeanor for any person to cut , write upon , deface or disfigure
or damage an,, building belonging to any company , corporation or individ-
ual or any church or school house or any other public building or any of
the appurtenances thereto belonging .
Flection 2 . It shall be unlaad'ul for any person to cut , injure
or obstruct any :ire , line or pole of any telegraph or telephone company
or of any property or materials belonging thereto .
Section 3 . It shall- be unlawful for any person to cvt , de -
face , disfigure or damage any fence , sign or bill "Hoard or any other
prc , ert. y not herein mentioned .
Section d . Any person violating; the provisions of this ordi -
nanco shall be fined in any sum ' not exceeding twenty five dollars .
Section 5 . That this ordinance talkie effect and be in force
from and . aft. er its passage and publication .
