Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of
Fayetteville , Arkansas ,

Section 1 , That it shall be the duty of the memb rs of the
council the Cit attorney, ' �� 'FYI ctt2yl�rj
Y J , ? 7r ) , Iri&r -Z"m ! and Street
Coramissioner to attend the mcetinffs of the council .
Section 2 . That if' any Oerson or . officer herein named
shall fail or refuse to attend any meeting of the council he
shall forfeit to the .City for each failure the sum of one ( $1 . 00 )

to be collected by the�" .a -� as o her debts due the City and
to be accounted for by him as other funds are acco nted for ,
Section 3 . That any forfeiture herein provided for may )�
be remitted by a vote of a majority of the council at any regular,

meeting upon a proper and satisfactory excuse being shown by the
person requesting that such a forfeiture br remitted ,
Section 4 . That this ordinance be in force from and after its
passage ,
