punish the same .
Be it ordained by the City council of the City of Fayetteville
Arkansas .
' r btu Section 1 . That vagrancy and common street begging of all able
bodied persons shall be unlawful within the corporate 'limits of the
City of Fayetteville .
Section 2 . Every able bodied person who shall be found beg—
gins or rambling about , within the corporate limits of the City of
It Fayetteville , not having any visabl, means of maintaining himself
r and who doth not betake himself to labor or some honest calling to
procure livolyhood and all able bodied persona who are found bogging
on the atroets or from house to house , and all persons v:ho quit their
houses and loave their wives and children without the means of susten—
ance shall be deemed and treated as vagrants under this ordinance . .
Section 3 . That all persons male and female violating the
iprovisions of this ordinance , upon conviction thereof Shull be fined
in any sum not exceeding twenty five dollars for each offense .

repealed and that this ordinance
take ef `ect and be in force from aner its passage and publication .
