An ordinance prohibiting pyrotechical exhibitions and the discharge
of fireworks or gunpowder within certain limits and prescribing
a penalty therefor . .
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Fayetteville
Arkansas .
y Section 1 . That the discharge of fireworks or of gun powder
vulphur and other inflamable material used for making - explosions

r t In the air and also all pyrotechnical exhibitions of any kind, with .

in or upon the public square , in the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas ,

or within a distance of one block , from the said public square
in said City , is hereby prohibited .
/ Section 2 . Any person violating any of the provisions of this
Nrdinance as defined in the predeeding section shall be deemed guilty
of a misdemeanor , and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine ,
in any sum not less than Two nor exceeding Twenty - five Dollars .
Section 3 . All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
with this ordinance are hereby repealed , and this ordinance shall
take effect and' be in force from and after its passage and
publication .
