An ordinance to prohibit prostitution within: tho corporate limits .
of Fayetteville Arkansas .
Be it ordained by the City council of the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas ,
{� Section 1 . It shall be unlawful for any person to keep a
H�1 bawdy houso , assignation house , house of ill fame or house for the
prostitution of woman within the corporate limits of the City of
Fayetteville , Arkansas .
n Section 2 , It shall be unlawful for any person knowingly
y �rfi.� to rant or let any building within the corporate limits of the City of

Fayetteville , to be used as a bawdy house , assignation house ,
house of ill fame , or for the purpose of the prostitution of woman ,
U fI % c* ion3 . It shall be unlawful for the owner of any building
.� Ilrn land on which to construct any hoses or tent or other structure
^ within the corporate limits of the City of Fayetteville to allowsuch
eM1 � ding or land or any portion thereof to he occupied by any person

or parsons for the purpose of prostitution ,
Section 4 . It shall be unlawful for any male person of tha
age of 12 years or over to reside in any bawdy house , assignation
ouse or house of ill fame or house for the purpose of prostitution

y, of women , for the purpose of aiding , assisting or abetting the
owner or keeper thereof or the woman who live therein or resort to
such house in lascivious practices , or for any such male parson to
in any way assist such laved women or prostitnta by soliciting patronage .
Section 5 . It shall be unlawful for any male person of the

1 age of twelve years and over to visit r, balsdy house , assignation

house , house of ill fame or prostitute or meet or associate with
lewd women on terms of intimacy or for immoral purposes within the
corporate limits of the City -• f Fayetteville Arkansas , ( Is amended by

Section 6 . It shall be unlawful for any female person of the age
� .Vw of twelve of over to lodge in or resort to a bawdy house or ansignation
house or house for the prostitution of women for the purpose of
prostitution or for the purpose of plying their vocation as a pros -
titute , shall stand or wait on any street , alielVor public place within
tha City or to do any other act for that purpose .
Section 7 . The word house in this ordinance shall be so con-
strued as to mean and include all tents , huts , cabins , wagons , or any
j\f other place of habitation whatever , and any person or persons violating
VV I ' the provisions of this oniinanco shall , upon conviction , be fined in any ,
