A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF THE
PASSENGER FACILITY CHARGES FOR APPROVED
PROJECTS.
WHEREAS, it would be in the public interest to perform the below the listed projects at
Drake Filed Airport; and
WHEREAS, funding these projects through Passenger Facility Charges would be in the
public interest; and
WHEREAS, City Resolution No. 96-95, Section 4.1, provides that Passenger Facility
Charges shall be expended for projects approved by resolution of the City Council and approved by
the Federal Aviation Administration.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FAYETTEVILLE,ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the Passenger Facility Charges collected pursuant to Resolution 96-95
are hereby authorized to be expended on the following projects:
1. Snow Removal Equipment;
2. ARFF Building and ARFF Truck;
3. Terminal Area Improvements;
4. Commercial Ramp Rehabilitation and Extension;
5. Part 107 Access Control System;
6. PFC Application and Administrative Costs.
Section 2. That this resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 18th day of November , 1997.
