A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING LOCAL GOVERNMENT
ENDORSEMENT OF STAFFMARK, INC. TO PARTICIPATE IN
THE ADVANTAGE ARKANSAS PROGRAM(FORMERLY THE
ARKANSAS ENTERPRISE ZONE PROGRAM - ACT 947 OF
1993).
WHEREAS,the local government must endorse a business to participate in the Advantage
Arkansas Program and benefit from the refunds and tax credits as provided in the Arkansas
Enterprise Zone Act of 1993 Regulations; and
WHEREAS, said endorsement must be made by Resolution in substantially the form
prescribed by the Arkansas Economic Development Commission; and
WHEREAS, Staffmark, Inc. located at 302 East Millsap Road,Fayetteville, AR 72703 has
sought to participate in the program and more specifically has requested benefits accruing from the
expansion of its corporate headquarters located at such address; and
WHEREAS, Staffmark, Inc. has agreed to furnish the local government all necessary
information for compliance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
FAYETTEVILLE,ARKANSAS:
Section 1. Staffmark,Inc. is endorsed by the City of Fayetteville,Arkansas for benefits
from the refunds and tax credits as provided in the Arkansas Enterprise Zone Act of 1993
Regulations, through June 30, 2001.
Section 2. The Department of Finance and Administration is authorized to refund all
local sales and use taxes to Staffmark, Inc.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
