A RESOLUTION AWARDING BID NO. 97-16, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $158,843.84 TO GUS SHAFFAR FORD, FOR
THE PURCHASE OF 8 INTERMEDIATE EXTENDED CAB 4
WHEEL DRIVE PICK UP TRUCKS TO BE UTILIZED FOR
REPLACEMENT AND EXPANSION UNITS FOR THE METER
OPERATIONS DIVISON, ENGINEERING DIVISION, WATER
& SEWER MAINTENANCE DIVISION AND THE FIRE
MARSHALL'S OFFICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the City Council hereby awards Bid No. 97-16, in the amount of
$158,843.84 to Gus Shaffar Ford, for the purchase of 8 intermediate extended cab 4 wheel drive
pick up trucks to be utilized for replacement and expansion units for the Meter Operations
Division, Engineering Division, Water & Sewer Maintenance Division and the Fire Marshall's
office. A copy of the bid tabulations are attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and made a part
hereof.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 18th day of March . 1997.
