RESOLUTION NO 2-97
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY STAFF TO
NEC,OTIATE AN OFFER AND ACCEPTANCE CONTRACT TO
PURCHASE ADDITIONAL PARK LAND FOR GULLEY PARK
AT A COST NOT TO EXCEED $I25,OOO WHICH INCLUDES A
$25,000 DONATION; AND APPROVAL OF A BUDGET
ADJUSTMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY TIM CITY COIJNCIL OF TIM CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS:
Section l. That the City Council hereby authorizes city staff to negotiate an offer and
acceptance contract to purchase additional park land for Gulley park at a cost not to exceed
$125,000 which includes a $25,000 donation.
Section 2. The City Council hereby approves a budget adjustment as follows: to
increase Land Acquisition, Acct. No. 22509250 5805 00, Project No. 96091 by decreasing Use
of Fund Balance, Acct. No. 2250 0925 4999 99, Project No. 96091 in the arnount of $50,000 and
Donations, Acct. No. 2250 0925 4809 00 in the amount of $25,000. A copy of the budget
adjustment is attached hereto marked Exhibit A and made a part hereof.
