AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND § 33.460 MEMBERSHIP OF THE FOOD COMMISSION ARTICLE TO
PROVIDE FOR THREE YEAR STAGGERED TERMS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby amends § 33.460 by enacting a new
subsection f as follows:
“f) All citizen members shall serve three year terms after the initial terms in which the food retailer and person engaged
is agriculture receive three year terms, the person included in Hunger Relief and one citizen at large receive two year
terms, and the other citizens at large receive one year terms. A Council Member may receive a term of up to three
years, but not beyond their current term of office.”

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby amends § 33.460 by
enacting a new subsection f as follows:
“f) All citizen members shall serve three year terms after the initial terms in which the food retailer and
person engaged is agriculture receive three year terms, the person included in Hunger Relief and one
citizen at large receive two year terms, and the other citizens at large receive one year terms. A
Council Member may receive a term of up to three years, but not beyond their current term of office.”
