Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby approves a budget adjustment, a copy of which is attached to this Resolution. OF SPRINGDALE ARKANSAS THROUGH A SOURCEWELL COOPERATIVE PURCHASING CONTRACT (020223-CEC) PLUS ANY APPLICABLE SURCHARGES, FREIGHT OR DELIVERY FEES UP TO 10% OF THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE AND THE APPROVAL OF A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT. BACKGROUND: 9315 (PRKS_F075) is a small sidewalk sweeper that has been moved to the airport. DISCUSSION: Unit 9315 was originally purchased for Parks Operations on June 29, 2022. After being placed into service, it was determined that the unit's specifications did not fully align with Parks Operations' daily operational needs. To ensure optimal utilization of City resources, Fleet Operations reassigned the unit to Airport Operations, where it better supports the airport's daily sweeping requirements. The Bobcat UW56 (Toolcat) model has proven to be a more suitable fit for Parks Maintenance activities. Fleet Operations recommends replacement of 9315 with another Bobcat UW56. BUDGET/STAFF IMPACT: Sufficient funds have been collected on 9315 to purchase another Bobcat UW56. A budget adjustment is being presented for your approval from the Fleet Fund. ATTACHMENTS: 3.
