Approve the archived minutes from December Reports and Presentations Tas - Report Carlo For January Unfinished Business New Business Planned Projects for 2026 • The Cottages at Old Wire – Project will carry over into 2026. • Happy Hollow Elementary – Project will continue into 2026. • St. James Detention Pond – Pending POA decision; will roll over into 2026. • Markham Hill – New connection on Sang Avenue, including detention pond work. • Broyles Road – Removal and replacement of dead trees. • POA Detention Ponds – Continued coordination and improvements. • Board-Recommended Projects – To be identified and prioritized for 2026. Urban Forestry Advisory Board December 3, 2025 City of Fayetteville, Arkansas Page 3 • Emerald Ash Borer Response – Ongoing monitoring and management efforts. Fayetteville Community Foresters will be recognized at the December 16 City Council Meeting Prior to the meeting. Announcements Project Updates • St. James Street Tree Planting – Installation is scheduled for November/December. • Harmony Point Detention Pond – Installation is planned for November/December. • Park Meadows Street Trees – Installation is expected in November/December. • St. James Detention Pond – Currently on hold, pending a decision from the POA. • The Cottages at Old Wire – Awaiting a decision from the POA. • Happy Hollow Elementary Campus – Awaiting direction from school maintenance staff on how they’d like to proceed. • Tree City USA – The application is complete and awaiting the Mayor’s signature before submission. I will also be submitting for the Growth Award. Adjournment NOTICE TO MEMBERS OF THE AUDIENCE Urban Forestry Advisory Board meetings may be attended in-person or virtually. Community members have the opportunity to address the board at a designated time during the meeting. Citizens may propose items to be included in the board's agenda. To submit an item for consideration, e-mail the Urban Forestry Advisory Board team at least one week prior to the meeting. As a courtesy, please turn off all cell phones and pagers.
