BACKGROUND: Gall’s, LLC was approved in Resolution #259-23 as the quartermaster services provider on November 21, 2023. The terms of the current contract covered a period of one (1) year, with automatic renewals for up to four (4) additional one year terms. Galls, LLC is the only authorized dealer for Blauer products in the state of Arkansas, which is the department’s police uniform supplier. Galls, LLC is a local distributor that maintains an inventory of the department's authorized uniform items and provides quartermaster services, including sizing, tracking, and billing of purchased items for officers. DISCUSSION: Contract Amendment #1 reflects a nine percent (9%) increase on selected items requested by Galls, Inc., due to continued inflationary economic conditions. All other terms of our existing contract will remain constant. The attached updated itemized price list highlights the applicable items subject to the nine percent (9%) increase. BUDGET/STAFF IMPACT: Existing budgeted funds in the 2025 Approved Operating Budget are estimated to cover these price increases for the remainder of fiscal year 2025. Uniform allowances and new officer uniform expenses are projected annually, and any adjustments will be included in the proposed 2026 budget. This contract amendment has no impact on staffing.
