A RESOLUTION TO CONFIRM MAYOR RAWN’S APPOINTMENTS TO THE FAYETTEVILLE PUBLIC
FACILITIES BOARD
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. §14-137-108 (A)(3)(B) the City Council must confirm the Mayor’s
appointments to the Public Facilities Board before the appointees can take office.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby confirms the appointment of Jacob Elser
to the Fayetteville Public Facilities Board for an unexpired term ending December 31, 2027.
Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby confirms the appointment of Leslie
Ferguson to the Fayetteville Public Facilities Board for a term ending December 31, 2029.
Section 3: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby confirms the appointment of Marjo Burk
to the Fayetteville Public Facilities Board for a term ending December 31, 2030.

SUBJECT: Confirm Appointments to the Public Facilities Board
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommend the Fayetteville City Council confirm Mayor Rawn's appointment of the following individuals to the
Fayetteville Public Facilities Board:
Mr. Jacob Elser, unexpired term ending December 31, 2027
Ms. Leslie Ferguson, term ending December 31, 2029
Ms. Marjo Burk, term ending December 31, 2030
BACKGROUND:
Pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. §14-137-108(A)(3)(B) the Fayetteville City Council must confirm the Mayor’s
appointments to the board. Individuals were selected in consultation with Mr. Aaron Berg, Chair of the Public
Facilities Board.

Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby confirms the appointment
of Leslie Ferguson to the Fayetteville Public Facilities Board for a term ending December 31, 2029.
Section 3: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby confirms the appointment
of Marjo Burk to the Fayetteville Public Facilities Board for a term ending December 31, 2030.
It is my recommendation that Fayetteville City Council confirm my appointment of the following
individuals to the Fayetteville Public Facilities Board:
Mr. Jacob Elser, unexpired term ending December 31, 2027
Ms. Leslie Ferguson, term ending December 31, 2029
Ms. Marjo Burk, term ending December 31, 2030
