A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE PURCHASE OF TWO SIDE-BY-SIDES FROM POLARIS SALES
INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $90,510.26, PLUS ANY ADDITIONAL SURCHARGES, FREIGHT CHARGES,
OR DELIVERY FEES, PURSUANT TO A SOURCEWELL COOPERATIVE PURCHASING CONTRACT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby authorizes the purchase of two side-by-
sides from Polaris Sales Inc., in the amount of $90,510.26, plus any additional surcharges, freight charges, or delivery
fees, pursuant to a Sourcewell cooperative purchasing contract.

SUBJECT: FIRE DEPARTMENT SIDE-BY-SIDE ASSET REPLACEMENTS THROUGH POLARIS
SALES INC.
RECOMMENDATION:
RECOMMEND COUNCIL APPROVES THE PURCHASE OF (2) SIDE-BY-SIDES FROM POLARIS SALES
INC. FOR THE PURCHASE PRICE OF $90,510.26 THROUGH A SOURCEWELL COOPERATIVE
PURCHASING CONTRACT (091024-PSI) ALONG WITH ANY FREIGHT CHARGES, SURCHARGES OR
DELIVERY FEES.
BACKGROUND:
9168 (FIRE_F028) and 9169 (FIRE_F029) are both at 12.6 and 14 points and have reached replacement.
DISCUSSION:
Both assets are used for emergency brush and wildfire responses along with EMS and medical calls along the
trails. Their secondary purposes are utilized for large crowds at events.
Fleet recommends the on-time replacement of these units for daily fire department operations.
BUDGET/STAFF IMPACT:
These assets are planned 2025 purchases and within budget.
