Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe. Good morning, Im writing to echo the sentiment of my Park Meadows neighbors and voice my strong opposition to relocating the unhoused to the proposed nearby parcel. If you have support for this proposition, consider placing it near that support, but if you have opposition from a neighborhood, then it would be wrong to move forward. As one of only a few remaining neighborhoods near downtown that are not majority rentals and also not occupied by affluent Fayetteville residents, we hope to be treated fairly in this decision. Additionally, here are some practical reasons in support of our opposition to this proposal. Negative impact on safety. Consider the myriad past criminal events involving the unhoused community in Fayetteville. Especially those at Walker Park. Deterrent to any future middle income income, impacting the fabric of Fayetteville. Direct correlation to loss in property value that these families rely on. Sincerely, A first time home owner and 33 year Fayetteville resident, Brad Mick 750 S. Jaybird Ln Fayetteville AR 72701 c: 479.200.2280 1
