I am Very happy about the city looking into more parking. I had an Idea that may help and would cost the city more than
what is needed to purchase land since we already have two large parking lots that could be used and built on top of the
current Parking Lot with a new Parking Garage. I know how unsafe this area is and I have been trying to bring
awareness to the concerns I have about how the citizens are being treated and he Students are a huge target to the
dangers of this world. I drive for Lyft and I have heard of students being Drugged at bars while out living life and enjoying
themselves. I do not believe this is how our Students should be living especially the Frat houses, these students have
orgies and drug parties where some overdose but when you talk to parents and local people their just following in the
same footsteps as their family who was in the fraternity Houses as well. We also have major Drug dealers in the area
targeting these students because you're not cool if you're not doing it. Programs need to be in place to inform the
students who are our future not to be growing up with being tempted into bad behavior that could lead to problems
later in life where most of the students have connections with a fake ID and get a slap on the wrist and not looked at
anymore because their parents pay the fine. Our community needs to be safe for them to go out and enjoy themselves
without having to worry about beingraped or drugged I have seen so many Female Student who have gotten in my car
say their happy I picked them up because most of the Drivers in the area are creeps and make them uncomfortable. I
know there are known sex offenders working for door dash and no one bats an eye at this. I am just a concerned citizen
who whats to make the area a better place.
