Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe. City leaders, Our city's zoning regulations urgently require parking reduction requirement reform. Please consider this an emergency addition to the ordinance, as responsible growth and housing density depend on addressing parking minimum regulation immediately. This will encourage housing for all. Additionally, I am in full support of a student housing moratorium to address the encroachment of oversized developments that do not serve the long term plans of Fayetteville esp with the continuous decline in college attendees. To keep up with the professional-forward community development in Bentonville and Rogers, it is highly recommended to consider the longevity of 3+ bedroom apartment buildings that are leased by the room as well as location and overall development standards that protect current non-student homeowners, neighborhoods and historical areas. Current student apartments and rentals are dangerous with increasing death rates and they are causing a decline to overall property values. As someone who works for Walmart and commutes to Bentonville, as well as several of my neighbors, we continue to see Fayetteville as no longer a place for professionals who once preferred the character of this area. This issue is paramount to address immediately before these large scale get rich quick developers come through along with future planning considering high rates of collegiate decline in the coming years. Thank you, Kelly Kastel Ward 2 Sent in transit. Please excuse any errors. 1
