Will Dockery called the meeting to order.
1.Minutes from 12/19/19 were approved.
2.Neighborhood News Roundtable
a.From Nancy Allen
i.Discussed events the original Council of Neighborhoods held such as
debates for Mayor and Alderman Candidates
b.From Rick McKinney
i.Gordon Long Park was cleaned up quickly after call to parks department
ii.His office is in Ward 1 so he’ll reach out to people about our meetings.
c.Will Dockery
i.Gregory Park issues - Will talked to the parks department and they need
more information. Nancy gave information as to where the trash builds
up.
ii.No information yet as to if they have volunteers for park clean up
iii.Discussed the construction on the west side
iv.Discussed need for members from Ward 1
3.General Discussion
a.Membership
i.Need to elect new vice president and 3 Ward 1 members
b.Town Hall for Ward 1 has been moved to March
i.Need to work on FB page and get more social media output
