BACKGROUND: Unit 822 (WSEW_F081) has reached replacement with 13.5/15 points and is ready for surplus. DISCUSSION: This replacement Excavator will be an upgraded size and with additional attachments for the Water Sewer Department to accelerate water leak repairs and will be used to respond to after-hours emergencies as well. We have fully collected for a like -sized unit, but again, the Water Sewer Department is needing a larger upgraded unit for daily operations. It will come with (3) buckets (24", 36" and 42"), a pusher blade, hydraulic thumb attachment and breaker attachment. BUDGET/STAFF IMPACT: IA budget adjustment is attached for your approval.
