Due to City growth and expansion of the recycling program, this truck will be used for collecting recycling containers from our drop off sites and large
multi family customers. Additionally it will provide a spare truck. This purchase will be frontline use and the oldest roll-off truck would now be able to
function as a backup when these assets need to go in for maintenance or repairs. This purchase was approved with the passage of the FY25 budget.
This FY25 Expansion Utility body work truck will be for the field crew to transport crews and equipment on construction projects. It will also be
required for responding to after hour emergencies. This was approved with the passage of the FY25 budget.

other categories.**
This trailer has reached replacement and Fleet will be proceeding with a like replacement of this unit. The Fleet Operations expects the shortfall in
collections will be made up with the surplus of the old unit.
January 2025 Equipment Committee
This expansion forklift will be used for Recycling and Trash Collections container maintenance personnel to move dumpsters in and out of buildings as
well as proper positioning of them when welding and painting. It will also be used as a backup for our Material Recovery Facility for moving bales,
loading trucks and unloading pallets more safely. This was approved with the passage of the FY25 budget.
