Dear Mayor Rawn and City Council members,
My name is Franklin Evarts and I live at 11West South Street. I am writing in support of council persons
Turk and Weiderkers rule change for parking places and possibilities with new construction. While this
won’t help us in South Fayettevill deal with the upcoming Urban Lofts project, in the future the city needs
to look at this issue and make some changes. I am in favor of the 1 parking place per bedroom. This is
only fair and logical. If we are going to focus on the great need of new housing in Fayetteville we also need
to concentrate on the folks that are already living in areas of proposed new construction and the
surrounding infrastructure. In my mind this did not happen with the Urban Lofts, but maybe in the future
you can consider these issues and be proactive. I believe the proposal by council members Turk and
Weiderker is a good start. Thank you for your time and service to our community.
Sincerely,
Franklin Evarts
