Speakers shall be limited to a maximum of five (5) minutes. The Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force Control Board may allow a speaker additional time or may allow an unsigned -up person to speak by unanimous consent or majority vote. Those present were: Mike Reynolds, Chief- Fayetteville Police Department Jay Cantrell, Sheriff- Washington County Sheriff's Office Frank Gamble, Chief- Springdale Police Department Charles Mcllroy Sergeant- 4th Judicial Drug Task Force Willie Newman, Fiscal Director- Fayetteville Police Department Cara Murdoch, Administrative Assistant- 4th Judicial Drug Task Force Greg Tabor, Chief Deputy- Washington County Sheriffs Office Derek Hudson, Assistant Chief- Springdale Police Department Jason French, Captain- Fayetteville Police Department Jeff Taylor, Captain- Springdale Police Department Dustin Treat, Captain- Springdale Police Department Chris Moad, Lieutenant- Fayetteville Police Department Sam Martin, Law Enforcement Legal Advisor- Washington County Sheriffs Office Chief Mike Reynolds called the meeting to order. Upon roll call, the above -listed members were acknowledged as present. Copies of the minutes from the meeting on October 30, 2024, were distributed to all present. Sheriff Jay Cantrell made a motion, seconded by Chief Frank Gamble, to approve the minutes. The motion was approved unanimously. A copy of the financial report for the Grant FY2024-2025 was distributed to all present for review, the period ending October 31, 2024. Willie Newman stated the total expense to date was $316,692.00, which included JAG Funding $89,507.00, Drug Crime Funding (DCF) $106,872.00, AR FY2024 2"d Spending Plan $20,232.00, Gulf Coast HIDTA $57,251.00, Local JAG $31,012.00, and Non -Allowed $11,817.00. Sergeant Charles Mcllroy reported on the task force's activity from October 1, 2024, through October 31, 2024, and a copy of the statistics was distributed to all present. Mcllroy stated that the task force opened 19 cases in October, closed 27, and made 27 arrests. Mcllroy further noted that $3,380.00 was expended for the purchase of evidence and $200.00 for the purchase of information. Mcllroy stated that drugs seized during the month included: methamphetamine, marijuana, cocaine, crack cocaine, and pharmaceuticals. Mcllroy said that 14 warrants were served. Also noted were 11 drug convictions for October. The task force seized $3,043.00 in U.S. currency during the month. The locations of DTF Enforcement Action for the month were Fayetteville, 10 cases; Springdale, 7 cases; Washington County, 1 case; and Tontitown, 1 case. OTHER BUSINESS Willie Newman has disbursed the shortfall money from the Arkansas Prosecutor's Coordinator's Office to the participating agencies. This money is to offset expenses for July, August, and September. Agencies should be receiving October reimbursements around the first of November. PUBLIC COMMENT No public comments Chief Mike Reynolds requested a date and time for the next meeting. The next meeting will be on December 18, at 1:30 P.M., at the Fayetteville Police Department, 1800 North Stephen Carr Memorial Blvd., Fayetteville, AR., Arkansas. The meeting was adjourned with a motion made by Sheriff Jay Cantrell, seconded by Chief Frank Gamble. Minutes recorded.
