My name is Mark Harper and I live at 1332 East Charlee in Fayetteville. My wife and I
are small business owners here in Fayetteville and I serve on the Historic District
Commission. I'd like to voice my support for the Appeal: PZD-2024-0005 item on tonight's
agenda.
I feel this kind of dense development is what we need more of in Fayetteville. I realize it's on the
Northwestern edge of the city limits and has been called "sprawl". But I feel the alternative is this
development would wind up being building Elkins or Farmington or even further out creating even more
driving and commuting. And the by right zoning would allow the kind of development we do NOT want.
