Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe. Mayor and members of city council: Please deny the request to include mini-storage units as a conditional use in the newly created Urban Corridor zoning. With more people regularly moving to our beautiful city and the University of Arkansas growing, self-storage units are often a part of life for new residents during a move or for college students between semesters. However, my experience in Dallas has taught me that these uses are generally used to hold land on speculation that development may become more advantageous and always encourage significant vehicle traffic. With that in mind, I ask that you please consider the grand vision of remaking College Avenue and not lose sight of the future city we all committed to with the Urban Corridor - transforming a sprawling, vehicle-centric part of our city into an active people-centric corridor with mixed-use development and multi-modal transportation. Thank you for your continued service to our great city! Nick Thorn, AIA 629 N Gray Avenue 1
