My name is Mark Harper and I live at 1332 East Charlee Street in Fayetteville. I'd like to
comment in support of the this rezoning request of the former Church on Township near
Gulley park. As I understand it the plan is to add some sort of cafe or food/beverage
service. I think that is a wonderful idea and would be a fantastic addition to this great
park. I live exactly one mile from the park and we have enjoyed it frequently the past 8
years especially since the cycle track was added. I don't see this being a detriment to
the park or the nearby neighborhood at all. In fact I wish the rezoning of the property on
the northwest corner of Old Wire and Ash had included some kind of light retail/food
service.
I hope this rezoning is approved and it shows people that having this kind of business
nearby makes for a very enjoyable situation. Thank you for your time,
