Greetings and good wishes to all!
This memo is sent to remind members of the airport board of the important upcoming
meeting and to communicate the urgency for attendance of all members.

Please note that this meeting has been moved to city hall in response to a city staff request
to eliminate any travel requirements.
This meeting will have a single Agenda item:
Discussion of communication with The Fayetteville City Council
At our September meeting we approved several recommendations to council regarding
hangar leases, rates for T-Hangars and maintenance. These recommendations were taken
by city staff to be delivered to council through the established process. Our
recommendations were presented by staff to the agenda setting session of the council. At
that session, our request was modified by city staff and placed on the Consent Agena for
the upcoming council meeting. The changes by staff resulted in significant modification
from the request of our board. Once on the Consent Agenda, such recommendations are
historically approved, without discussion, by the council.
I discussed this matter with council member Robert Stafford and he then requested that the
item be removed from the consent agenda and tabled for further discussion before being
sent to the council. It is my understanding that his request was approved.
We will discuss these actions and consider how we can facilitate our request, without
modification, directly to council.
Our Octobert meeting is to be held at city hall so that representatives from the city finance
and legal departments can conveniently meet with us. Mr. Stafford will also be present.
