Hello! I sent this to Council Members, but I wanted to send to the official agenda item email, too.

I am writing to express strong and enthusiastic support of RZN-2024-0040 2400 E Township St.
That property is walking distance from my house. Ever since we moved to the neighborhood, my husband
and I have walked around Gulley Park and wished for a coffee shop, restaurant, or other local
establishment to foster community and provide a spot to hang out with neighbors.
Further, my roller/inline skating buddies area always looking for places to trail skate and then have a bite
to eat afterward. There's never been anything on the east side of the trails, which happens to be where
the nicest skating pavement is :)
When we heard about the Missionary Baptist Church on Township going up for sale, we could not stop
talking about it! We kept hoping and dreaming that someone with the funds and the vision would create a
walkable establishment where we could grab a coffee or a bite to eat while enjoying this beautiful area.
I try to skate, bike, or walk wherever possible, and having a walkable establishment right in the
neighborhood will further decrease our reliance on our car. It will also build community pride and further
showcase the gem that is Gulley Park. I cannot wait to be a regular supporter of this establishment!
Thank you all SO much for what you do for the city, and I do hope you vote YES on this rezone.
