Please approve and adopt the Urban Forestry Management Plan. Faye?eville’s urban forest is a key part of the City’s
climate resilience goals, it:
• provides much-needed shade,
• is an effec?ve mechanism to cool areas, • reduces stormwater runoff, • increases property values, • and makes the City
more livable.
Protec?ng, maintaining, and expanding Faye?eville’s urban forest is essen?al to preserving and improving quality of life
for all our residents while increasing property values.
