Regarding the appeal of the Planning Commission’s denial of the rezoning for the 13.65 acre property on Old Wire Road.
I am Carol Borgstadt at 3102 Summershade Dr and I am opposed to the proposed rezoning at 3179 N. Old Road (RZN-
2024-0029). Here are my reasons for opposi?on: it would increase the already congested and dangerous traffic
condi?ons on Old Wire, Skillern, and Crossover Roads and further strain the water infrastructure in this area, which
suffers from low water pressure and waterline leaks. The proposed rezoning is also incompa?ble with and disrup?ve to
the surrounding area.
Yes, this City needs more housing, but this proposal is too big of a jump in density in this area.
Deny the rezoning please.
