Mayor Jordan and all Fayetteville City Council Members,
My name is Ted Borgstadt. I live at 3102 E. Summershade Drive in Fayetteville’s Brookburry Woods
subdivision, not far off of Old Wire Road. Carol, my wife, and I were the 15th house to be built in
Brookburry over 28 years ago. Yes, there has been quite a bit of change during this time and we still love
our home and our neighbors.
We do have serious concerns over the proposed rezoning of the 13+ acres close to us over on Old Wire
Road. Carol and I signed a previous petition to oppose the rezoning. Thank you to the committee for
voting to oppose the rezoning the first time. Now that there is an appeal tomorrow evening being voted on
again, I ask you to continue to oppose the rezoning. The demands on the infrastructure on water and
roads will be seriously stretched if the high density development is not denied again.
We love Fayetteville and our growth, but this specific rezoning for specific reasons should continue to be
opposed. Thank you for your consideration.
