City Council Members,
I reside at 3733 N Old Wire Road (about a mile north of this property). Additionally, I own properties immediately
adjacent to the subject property. About six weeks ago, thoughtful, lengthy deliberations took place regarding this
rezoning at the City Planning Commission meeting. In an overwhelming majority, the commission members voted to
deny the rezoning request. It is my understanding that the developer is appealing this decision.
As discussed in that meeting, the existing infrastructure is simply not at the point of being able to support that level of
development (most especially water lines, roads, sidewalks).
Nothing has changed during these past six weeks (in fact, ironically, there was a water leak in the vicinity of this property
just today). Therefore, I am writing to encourage you to uphold the planning commission’s decision and not allow this
13 acre property to be rezoned to RSF-8 (which would increase the possible homes from 6 to over 100).
Thanks for your consideration,
Patty Siebenmorgen
