Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe. Dear City Council members, I agree with the letter to you from University Heights residents, dated 05/27/24, for the many reasons stated there. Please appeal CUP 2024-0017 at 10 S. Palmer. I value international students and people of diverse religious groups, and what is requested in the Conditional Use Permit in general, but not in a residential neighborhood already struggling with UofA intrusion, traffic, safety, noise, etc. We rightly limit the number of STRs within a residential neighborhood. This Conditional Use Permit is too much. It is removing another property from the already limited affordable housing needed for families who want to make Fayetteville their home. It also takes away from quiet, safe residential neighborhoods that help give Fayetteville its charm. Our residential neighborhoods should not have to suffer from the UofA's overpopulation of students. Thank you for your consideration and service. Sincerely, Lisa M Orton 1663 W Halsell Rd Fayetteville, AR 72701 410-674-8440 Ward 4 Yahoo Mail: Search, Organize, Conquer 1
