Meeting Minutes
Call to Order and Roll Call (6:02)
• The meeting was called to order by Chloe Bell.
• Roll call was taken. Ellen Woodson was absent.
Approval of Meeting Agenda (6:02)
• Motion to approve agenda by Chloe Bell, approved
Approval of the April 17 Minutes (6:03)
• The April 17 minutes were reviewed and unanimously approved following a motion by
Bob Stafford
Work Plan Report —Joanna Bell (6:03)
• Joanna Bell presented the Work Plan Report, Introducing the Arts and Culture Program
Assistant, Sarah Dilatush. Updating the council on the Community art Wall at Poplar
Street, at six months there are 14 full pieces on the wall that are cataloged on Google
Images and other online cataloging solutions are being looked into.
• Joanna Bell discussed the Movies in the park program, four films with a film a month) with
a variety of genres.
• J. Bell told the council the Wilson Park Hub building ribbon cutting will be May 30th at
11 am.
Bob Stafford motion to display the Wilson Park Hub indefinitely was approved
unopposed
Joanna Bell will update the council on the budget reserves from the Wilson Park
Hub Art.

• The council was informed of the Gulley Park ribbon cutting will be on June 6th at 4pm-
there will be a custom sculpture with a playable structure and interactive fountain.
• Joanna Bell updated the council on the Arts and Culture plan- the online survey had 400
participants and will be closing soon. At Strawberry Fest (May 19) there will be a parks
table with the map tool. Specialized surveys will replace the general survey. On July 17
from 4-6pm there will be a community meeting on the Arts and Culture plan.
• JB updated the council on the upcoming Weekend Starts with Velvet Horn Quintet
performing and Tommy Tropical making mini murals (05/17).
• Joanna Bell Updated the council on the Nelson Hackett mural. Joell Storet has begun
installations.
Proposal Reviews/Discussion: (6:25)
• Joanna Bell updated on YRCC mural. A call for artists was placed with few artists. The
council's involvement will be in the selection of artist phase and in the finalization and
approval phase.
• Joanna recommended 2 council members to serve on a subcommittee with
YRCC members for artist selection.
• Amanda Reyer and Emily Miller will serve.
• Joanna Bell update on West Avenue Garage wall plan for mural. The plan is for a large
mural on the south wall of the parking garage with a budget of $85000. A formal RFP
process is recommended.

• Chloe Bell gave artist 360 application open and YRCC mural.
• Joanna bell call for work being featured in ramble.
• Amanda Rey updated on upcoming project at Fayetteville Public Library 11/23 Music
Walk of fame and temporary mini mobile museum installation.
• Meeting at Woodstone 05/19 to discuss walk of fame.

• There were no attendees for public comment. The meeting was adjourned by Chloe
Bell at 7:02
