I am really hoping we can gain your support for this resolution and show the city of Fayetteville, state of Arkansas and entire country, we value human lives. I believe in this council and knowing a Ukraine resolution was passed unanimously (8-0), gives me hope we will see the same result come next Tuesday! Thank you for time and looking forward to celebrating this achievement together! It’s mass murder of thousands of people with OUR tax dollars and bombs being used to do it. We must stand up as a community and say we do not support this and we will not keep funding this. Arkansas sends millions to Israel directly and that money could be used to help us and our community, rather than fund the destruction of another. > > Thank you for your time and I hope we can get your support on this resolution as truly, it’s life or death for Palestinians. > > Best wishes, > Walker Morris > > 4175407556 (here is my number if you would like to discuss this over a phone call) > > P.S.: attached are a couple poems I wrote as sometimes the only way to express pain is writing it out. > <cid:4FEFDF67-9993-4BAD-B678-99FE0C467816-L0-001.jpeg> > <cid:10A55E7E-8237-4594-BDEF-64BE1D3FEFDD-L0-001.jpeg> > > Sent from my iPhone From:Jeremy Morris To:Wiederkehr, Mike Cc:CityClerk Subject:Re: Ceasefire Resolution May 7th Date:Thursday, May 2, 2024 8:06:37 AM CAUTION: This email originated from outside of the City of Fayetteville.
