My name is Riyas, and I am reaching out to discuss about the May 7th ceasefire resolution voting in the city council. First of all, I would like to thank for everything you do in the city and as a constituent, I would request you to support any efforts towards establishing peace and saving lives. Most Americans prefer a ceasefire based on the recent pew and gallop survey results. Ivy college students are also speaking up for peace and justice by sacrificing their semesters and graduation. Most developed cities have already been showed their progressive maturity by standing up for justice at city levels. Since Fayetteville has already passed a resolution in support for Ukraine, I realize taking a stand for the world is nothing new for the great Fayetteville City council leadership. Please consider the lives being lost everyday and vote yes for the Gaza ceasefire resolution.
