Good afternoon,
First, thank you for your representation of Ward 3 and for the time and work you put into our
community. My family has called Fayetteville home for nearly 5 years and we love it here.
Please vote in support of the Gaza ceasefire resolution coming before Fayetteville City
Council on May 7th. This is a meaningful community action we need right now, when it is so
easy to feel helpless to stop the violence we are watching unfold in Gaza. We did the same in
response to violence in Ukraine. Most importantly, this resolution makes it clear Fayetteville
stands united against hate and antisemitism. This is a message our world needs right now.
If at all possible, I would appreciate a small amount of your time to ask your feelings on a
ceasefire in Gaza. I can meet you in person anytime this week, whatever works best for your
schedule. Alternatively, I will make myself available by phone any time.
Sincerely,
Chris Lassiter
