Good afternoon all. I'm asking one of you council members that voted against the appeal to make a
motion to reconsider this appeal. The reason is not complex. Had I been able to come back to the
podium I would have rebutted what I believe to be the main reason the four of you voting against the
appeal. That being: the city needed this “line on the map” to protect the right to put this future road in
that location if any of my clients or their heirs or buyers decided to develop. That argument makes very
good sense if indeed this location is really where the city or anyone else wants this road to go. I don't
think any of the four no votes really believed the road should go in this location , but perhaps didn't think
about that when they voted. When you put a line on the map and it's a good place to have the road from
an environmental, topography, water flow, ease of construction etc. standpoint, then yes I too would
vote to keep that line on the map, but not here. I respectfully request reconsideration based on this soul
