8. Botanical Garden Report: Elizabeth Cunningham – Revamping membership, staff
handbook completion, staff now to have vision insurance, appreciation dinner being
planned, volunteer training and classes ongoing.
9. Friend of Parks Report: Steve Sheely – Going to two meetings a month: one for admin,
one for staff. Working on FOP website, large donor, and scholarship strategies.
10. Land Acquisition Committee Report: Will Dockery – Staff were asked to make a matrix
for Park Land Acquisition to support efforts which was provided by Ted Jack.

11. Arts Council Report: Sarah Downing – Call for muralist announced for Nelson Hackett
Blvd., call for art for construction fencing in the Upper Ramble, WKND Starts begins mid-
April, looking for vendors for First Thursdays, and application for Gulley Park Concert
Series.
