AGENDA SESSION – NOVEMBER 9, 2023, 5:00 PM
I. Call to Order
The Fayetteville Housing Authority Board of Commissioners Regular Session was called to order on
Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 5pm via Zoom
II. Roll Call All commissioners were present. Also present was Executive Director Sherburne.
III. Action Items
A. Discussion: Meeting date for November Monthly session
Executive Director Sherburne led discussion regarding the upcoming meeting scheduled for
November 30th, which includes Resident Commissioner applicant interviews. The City Clerk’s
office will not have the completed applications to Chair Terry until the 28th. There is an option to
change interviews for December 7th as a Special Session.
Chair Terry noted that there are typically not many applicants and expressed confidence that she
would be able to contact all applicants to be present during the November 30th session.
Commissioner Humphrey had connection issues and dropped out of the call.
B. Review: Budget review & potential approval for Public Housing & PBRA (Morgan Manor)
Executive Director Sherburne has been contacted by HUD Field Office and Little Rock to request
the budget for Public Housing. HUD sent an email stating that FHA could potentially lose funding
if the Public Housing budget was not approved, and that waiting until the meeting on the 30th
would be too late. He went over the budget initially created by Lindsey MRI and showed his
notations for each line. He requested that the Board approve the budget and narrative for Public
Housing and Morgan Manor.
Chair Terry made a motion to approve the budget and narrative as presented. The motion was
seconded and passed unanimously.
IV. Final Comments & Announcements
Chair Terry requested a calendar of the social events around the properties that may require
volunteers during the holiday season.
