BACKGROUND: Unit 6012 is a 2015 Bobcat 5600 with a current FASTER score of 14.7 points. Unit 9080 is a 2005 Bobcat Side-by-side with a current FASTER score of 13.3 and the second side-by-side is an approved 2023 expansion. DISCUSSION: Unit 6012 is 8 years into service and is starting to have increased mechanical problems and no longer capable of front-line service for the Parks Maintenance division. Unit 9080 has been utilized for going on 19 years and has surpassed replacement. Fleet recommends replacing these units to continue front line service for each department and mission. All replacements are available off Sourcewell Contract (040319- CEC). BUDGET/STAFF IMPACT: These units were unanimously approved at the January 9th Equipment Committee. A budget adjustment is being presented for your approval.
