1. Call to Order – 5:31 p.m.
2. Roll Call – Dockery, Kincaid, Sheely, Davis, Walsh, Downing, Vranovci, Cunningham,
Zabecki
3. Welcome new board members - Board members and staff gave brief introductions, new
board members welcomed.
4. Approval of Minutes, December – Kincaid made motion for approval, Cunningham to
second, approved by all. PNRCAAB Motion 9-0-0.
5. Election of Officers – Chair: Davis to nominate Dockery for another year as chair,
Vranovci to second. Motion: 8-0-0. Vice Chair: Sheely to accept another term as Vice
Chair, Davis to second. Motion: 8-0-0. ATAC: Kincaid to nominate Davis, seconded by
Sheely. Motion: 8-0-0. BGO: Sheely to nominate Cunningham, Davis to second.
PNRCAAB Motion: 8-0-0.
6. Underwood Park Master Plan: Reva Meeks, Ecological Design Group – Staff to hear
from Reva Meeks with Ecological Design Group who descried their process and methods
of coming up with a Master Plan for Underwood Park. Davis made motion for approval,
Kincaid to second. PNRCAAB Motion: Motion 9-0-0.

7. Active Transportation Advisory Committee Update: Yarri Davis – Reported on
upcoming trail work, grants received, and expansion work slated for 2024.
8. Friend of Parks Report: Steve Sheely – Sheely reported FoP’s goals are to continue
working on 2024 calendar, schedule upcoming events, develop a cohesive social media
presence, invite new board members, and clarify what constitutes becoming a “Friend” or
member of Friend of Parks.
9. Land Acquisition Committee Report: Will Dockery – Dockery to give brief overview of
Land Acquisition Committee’s purpose, goals and duties.
10. Arts Council Report: Sarah Downing – Did not meet in December. Downing to give
update on Canvas of Light art installation, which ran through the holidays.
11. Project, Construction and HMR Update; Ted Jack, Park Planning Superintendent –
Jack to give updates on Wilson Park Hub, the Hub art wall, Gulley Park playground,
Walker Community park, Kessler Saddle Up trail, Combs/White River park -- staff to
recommend someone from PNRCABB to become a stakeholder for future projects like
Combs.
