Dear City Council:
My name is TJ Lefler and I am the managing member and owner for several residential properties within
walking distance of the proposed Road Runner at Garland and North Streets. On behalf of my partners
and of my many tenants, I am in support of the Road Runner project.
I’ve visited other new Road Runners and know they are a great operation. They have better and healthier
food, are much cleaner than even the newest convenience stores and provide a safe environment for
people to visit and purchase daily needs. They are a much needed option in the neighborhood for our
tenants, many of whom don’t have cars.
I’ve reviewed the development proposal and noticed the use meets all the zoning codes. It looks like the
variances requested are common practice for similar developments in the area as well.
It is great that they are providing EV chargers, as I own an EV and they are not easy to find nearby.
I hope that this development happens for the sake of the residents in the area as they need safe, well lit
and convenient places to get necessities. A blighted and empty corner does the area no good.
