Call to Order and Roll Call (6:00 PM) • Called to order by Chloe Bell. • Roll call completed: Present - Chloe Bell, Jessica DeBari, Bob Stafford, Emily Miller, Lakesha Edwards; Absent - LR Hightower, Abigail Hill. 2. Approval of Meeting Agenda (6:02 PM) • Agenda reviewed motion to approve by Chloe Bell and seconded by Emily Miller. The motion was approved unanimously. 3. Approval of the August 16 Minutes (6:04 PM) • Discussion and motion to approve August 16 minutes made by Jessica DeBari and seconded. Unanimous approval. 4. Proposal Reviews/Discussion: • Arts and Culture Plan Update / Cultural Brief —Joanna Bell (6:05 PM) • Joanna Bell presented the Cultural Brief, created in partnership with CACHE and the Municipal Arts Alliance. She discussed the ongoing consultant interview process and sought feedback on the preliminary data. • Fay Jones Sculpture Update —Bob Stafford (6:20 PM) Mailing Address: 113 W. Mountain Street www.fayetteville-ar.gov Fayetteville, AR 72701 • Bob Stafford updated on site visits for the Fay Jones sculpture with architect David McKee. Discussed potential locations and the formation of a Friends of Fay Jones organization for funding. • Annual Proposal Review Update —Chloe Bell (6:25 PM) • Chloe Bell confirmed the draft is unchanged and will be updated on the website for community partner responses. 5. Work Plan Report —Joanna Bell (6:30 PM) • Work Plan Updates: • Joanna Bell suggested a special meeting to review proposals for the Wilson Park hub building. • 2023 Budget Projections: • Bell presented an opportunity for a light projection pilot project on a parking garage wall, considering budget room for a temporary display during the holiday season. 6. Notes from the Field/Opportunities/Current Calls for Artists (6:45 PM) • Various opportunities discussed, including: • Artist INC meetings across the state courtesy of MAAA. • Arts Links conference in Little Rock with Arkansas Arts Council. • Fiber Fest juried contest and vending at Ozark Folkways. • Falltoberfest to support maker vendors thanks to Downtown Fayetteville. • Table registration is open for Death Ray Expo at Mount Sequoia. • Trick or Treat on the Trail event registration is open for candy stations. • Haunted Oaks party with Donna Mulholland featuring musicians and candy for kids. 7.
