A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPROVAL A CHANGE
ORDER TO THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM' S
WEDINGTON AREA DRAINAGE PROJECT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
That the Board of Directors hereby authorize approval of a
change order to the Community Development Program' s Wedington Area
Drainage project to delete a detention pond at the Porter Road
pump station, add a retaining wall and handrail section on Mt.
Comfort Road and account for overruns and underruns of unit
quantities in the contract. A copy of said change order author-
ized for approval hereby is attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and
made a part hereof.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 5th day of July , 1988.

Justification : Additional items needed to enhance drainage flow and for
erosion protection . Extra concrete pavement required due to shift in storm
drain alignment and crumbling of existing asphalt pavement along Mt . Comfort
Road . Detention basin deleted due to maintenance problem and capacity of
ditch being adequate to handle flow.

provisions of the contract will apply hereto . Deadline for completion of job
is hereby changed from May 19 to August 1 , 138A .
