The City's right to serve customers along the 36 inch line and outside the City's Growth Area is limited by the existing Service Area Agreement between Fayetteville and Springdale. 1. No new taps of any size will be made on the 36-inch transmission line. Any new water service will be made by adding loops to an existing service. 2. We will not furnish water to any customer without written permission from the City of Springdale, or the applicable water service entity. 3. We will not furnish water to any customer where they could get water from another system by a simple domestic tap. • 4. We will not furnish additional meter loops at a given location without first running a pressure and flow test at that location to determine if the service line can handle the additional demand. The maximum number of meter loops off of an existing service will be four (4) regardless of the results of the pressure and flow tests. 5. The service line from the main and the meter setting are property of the City of Fayetteville and can be expanded to serve other customers at the discretion of the City. However, the City will not add additional meter loops to a customes's service without the customer's written permission if the additional loops will cause a significant reduction in the quality of his water service. 6. It is not the intent of the City of Fayetteville to serve either subdivisions or parts of subdivisions with water and this Policy is not to be construed to allow such a use. 7. Water furnished under this Policy is to be used for domestic purposes only, which would include incidental lawn and garden watering. 8. Rar,kflow prevention will be provided at the customer's expense. 1111 EXHIBIT A
